This season’s featured design project in development includes a feasibility study and preliminary design of a new Bulk Material Handling Facility for a Moly Plant located at one of the nearby copper mines of Arizona, USA.
Results of the preliminary design have simplified the development of a detailed budget cost estimate, preliminary construction schedule, and the start of detailed design engineering.
The new design replaces the existing bulk material handling methods used, including new methods required for an efficient, logical, and safe mode of operation.
Major improvements of the Moly plant are located at the:
- Concentrate Unloading
- Sulfide Bagging,
- Downgrade Metering and Feed,
- Moly Oxide Packaging, and
- Storage & Retrieval System
Updates with this project including photos will be provided as the work progresses.
